View our list of manufacturers. Precision Tachometer Systems for Machinery Precision EM Instruments electric tachometers and allied test instruments are the simple, accurate way to measure and control many processes in industrial production, transportation, machine tools, marine equipment, laboratory and research work. They are available in permanent and portable designs, featuring rugged construction and highly accurate performance. To simply selection, all components are matched and furnished as complete system packages, including the appropriate sender, (generator, magnetic or optical pick-up), connecting leads and readout indicator.
Tachometer Systems are designed for the measurement of rotational or process speeds, such as strokes per minute, pieces per hour, feet per minute, parts per minute, revolutions per minute, and impressions per hour. Stopwatch timing methods are eliminated. Tachometers can be applied to printing presses, packaging machines, welders, conveyors, pumps, bottling machines, tramways, ski lifts, construction machinery and in a variety of other ways.
Tachometer Systems are available with either a generator, magnetic or optical pick-up sender. Readout indicators are available in analog or digital types and may be located up to 300 feet away from the sender. Optional indicators are available as zero center when used in conjunction with the Model 109 generator.
